The AWI-Certified architectural finishes and casework scope for the new Children’s Heart Institute includes extensive plastic laminate millwork throughout clinical, staff, and public areas, including cabinetry, workstations, transaction counters, bench seating, shelving, and support casework. Solid surface countertops, panels, transaction tops, window sills, and sinks are incorporated throughout, with select quartz surfaces. Featured finish components include decorative metal panels, laminate wall panels, acoustic and fabric-wrapped panels, upholstered seating, and custom desks. Work included decorative acrylic monitor wall panels coordinated with colored accent panels, along with a prominent 9’ x 11’ heart artwork fabricated from custom-colored acrylic strips.
