CCAC Center for Education, Innovation & Training

Project Description

This ground-up three-story 51,000 sq. ft. LEED Silver building holds classrooms, labs, and a culinary facility for high-demand jobs including those in the STEM fields. The monumental stair incorporated both a pedestrian stair and communicating stair benches. The benches were fabricated using white oak veneer panels, white oak hardwood edging, and 1×3 poplar wood. Several of the surrounding wall surfaces were faced with North American white oak tongue and groove cladding. Other work included solid surface tops in the restrooms and bistro areas.
