The final phase of the Hillman Library overhaul involved the renovation of the 70,000 sq. ft. ground floor to support new library programs. The scope included a comprehensive finish carpentry package that met both LEED and FSC Certification standards. Work consisted of the fabrication and installation of plastic laminate cabinets and countertops, stainless steel countertops and sills, and quartz surfaces. Additional architectural elements consisted of display glass shelving with sliding doors, wood veneer panels, wood trim, handrails, Panelite panels, felt panels, upholstered seating, benches, feature walls, and custom reception desks.
