Georgetown University Leo J. O’Donovan Dining & Leavey Center Dining

Project Description

Over 15 different restaurant concepts were incorporated into this renovation which was completed to meet student needs and food trends. Two-stories were demolished and fit-out in 150 days. The demanding schedule required our team to work two 10-hour shifts six days/week. The work included wood/laminate veneer low walls and tables, solid surface countertops, upholstered booth seating, and laminate casework. Unique items consisted of countertops retrofitted to a Volkswagen Bus and ceiling elements utilizing metal beams/frames, corrugated metal panels, and wood beams. Per the request of the head chef, our craftsman designed and fabricated custom wood “bike” tables which were locally sourced actual bicycles. All the quartz tops were delivered and installed in less than seven days from templating.
